Privacy Policy — Foxfire Foundry Applications
(Last Updated: 28.May, 2026)

Thank you for using a Foxfire Foundry app!
Foxfire Foundry is the apps-and-tools imprint of Foxfire Tales LLC, where Foxfire Tales is the books-and-stories imprint. Both share the same author, the same privacy stance, and the same gal-behind-the-curtain — and the privacy stance is the simplest possible one:
The short-and-sweet:
- Our apps collect nothing. No personal information, no usage analytics, no device identifiers, no anything.
- Our apps transmit nothing. Whatever happens inside an app stays on your device.
- Our apps contain no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. No ad networks, no analytics services, no tracking pixels, no telemetry.
- Microphone access, when an app asks for it (like LOTUS), is used only to process audio in real time, right there on your device. Your audio is never recorded, never stored, never transmitted anywhere. The microphone serves as kind of reverb and instrument tuner; that’s all.
- File access, when an app asks for it (like the Shakuhachi Sightreading Helper or The Drawing Room), it uses Android’s Storage Access Framework. That means you choose the folder, and the app can only see files inside that folder and the app’s own private sandbox. Nothing else on your device is visible to the app, and nothing it sees is ever transmitted off your device.
- Children’s privacy: because Foxfire Foundry apps collect no data at all, they comply with COPPA and GDPR children’s-data rules by default. No special handling needed.
- If a future Foxfire Foundry app ever needed to collect anything, we would update this policy first, name the data plainly, and explain why. No surprises.
A final word
If anything here ever seems off, please reach out via the Foxfire Tales contact form. These apps exist to help people practice their craft and find a little quiet beauty — not to gather data.
Thank you for being here. 💛
